In August 2019, Jianxing Honors College organized a 30-day studying visit to the University of Cambridge. The project involves learning selected courses, planning social activities, organizing case competitions and issuing certificates. A total of 8 undergraduate students participated in this study visit.
During the visit, students completed courses in Creativity and Innovation, Disruptive Innovation in the Financial Field, British Culture and History, Critical Thinking, and leadership, passed assessment and obtained the certificate. In addition to study related courses at the University of Cambridge, students also went to London, Manchester, Birmingham and other cities to conduct cultural inspections, visited the British Museum, the National Gallery, and the University of Oxford, University of Birmingham, University of Manchester and other famous ones, fully experienced British life and the different campus atmosphere and school environment. In addition, the case competition organized by the college has further exercised students' teamwork and personal expression skills, thereby improving their own quality.
As a training base for the school's top-notch innovative talents, Jianxing College provides students with multi-channel exchange opportunities at home and abroad, aiming to strengthen the cultivation of students' innovative ability, English application ability, broaden their horizons and cultivate international talents. Since the first winter vacation in 2014 when the college organized students to visit Hong Kong, the college has organized students to visit famous schools at home and abroad every year. This visiting program focuses on cultivating students' innovative ability and broadening their horizons, so as to more effectively cultivate talents.
